For CRY, events have been a platform for people to be involved in their efforts. Not only do events create awareness about child rights and CRY, they also help raise crucial resources that allow them to continue with their work.
The 5Cs – or The CRY Cadence Corporate Cricket Challenge – started in 1999 as a joint initiative between CRY and Cadence Design Systems (India) Pvt Ltd.
We at bolobolo, in collaboration with CRY(UK) and Cadence, bring you the photographs from the cricket tournament.
Why not spruce up ur profile on Facebook, my space, orkut etc. with your cricket images? OR share your on the field exploits with your colleagues, friends and family? Please get in touch with Nina Munshi at CRY (cryuk.london@crymail.org) for getting your own disc of high resolution version of these cricket images and limited rights to use these images.
Finals: Saturday 21st July 2007, Regents Park, London
Grand finals on Saturday 21st July were held in less than ideal conditions. Buoyed by the enthusiasm for the sport, the 4 semi-finalists braved fluctuating and often low light conditions combined with frequent spells of rains that posed a challenge even for our experienced photographer. HCL beat Infosys to finish as the third highest team of the series. Last year's Runners-up ICICI Bank beat NIIT (one of the most high energy teams of the tournament) to lift the championship trophy this year. Congratulations to the ICICI team.

Day 3: Saturday 14th July 2007, Regents Park, London
Action packed Saturday with some last ball finishes. Great atmosphere, with a charged up performance by all the teams (Is it because of the new caterer?). Promises to be an engaging Saturday next with Semi-finals and Finals being played on 21st July. Closeby, the first test between India-England for this summer series will be on at the Lords ground. Hopefully, we will see more action at the 5C's grand finale.

Day 1: Saturday 23rd June 2007, Regents Park, London
Total number of teams is 16. Played on a league format, this is an improvement over the last year. Saturday was cloudy and heavy with strong winds. Forecasted to receive heavy rains, it fortunately didn't interrupt the proceedings. In fact, just after we had wrapped up the day, the skies literally opened up and poured down hard & heavy on Regents Park. So it seems we are on to a good start.
