Gandhi’s London walk is a 2 to 3 Hour journey through heart of London. It takes visitors back into M.K. Gandhi’s days in London as a student, civil rights activist and then leader of the Indian freedom struggle.
Visitors see the buildings and inner London that Gandhi saw, places he lived, studied, ate at and walked. The walk starts at Temple Underground Station and takes the visitors through Inner Temple, Strand, Covent Garden and towards Trafalger Square with stories about London of late 19th and early 20th century that Gandhi experienced as a young student and lawyer.
All walks commence from London Temple Underground Station. The walk is for about 2 to 3 hours. Please come in comfortable walking shoes and bring water on a warm day. Kindly observe silence while the tour guides are speaking.
Student groups, veterans may apply for sponsorship by email to gandhislondon@gmail.com for a free walk. Tourists are required to pay £6 at the beginning of walk. The organisers reserve the right to change the walk date, time and schedules.
